「ジャズミュージアムちぐさ」
内覧会・一般オープン延期のお知らせ
かねてより建て替え中の「ジャズ喫茶ちぐさ」（横浜市中区野毛町）は、「ジャズミュージアムちぐさ」として再出発することとなり、その内覧会を12月15日（金）、一般オープンを16日（土）に予定しておりましたが、一部工事の遅れが発生したため、延期することとなりました。
新しいちぐさは地下での営業となりますが、地上のイベントスペースでも使用できるように計画していたグランドピアノを上下させる昇降機の設置が間に合わなくなり、これにあわせて、大型スピーカーの搬入と内装工事も大幅に遅れることとなりました。
本来、今年3月完成を目指しながら設計変更が重なり、最後の最後に再延期せざるを得ない状況になりました。完成を楽しみにお待ちいただいていたジャズファン、関係者、ファンドにご寄付いただいた支援者の皆様には、誠に申し訳なく、深くお詫び申し上げます。
今後につきましては、再三にわたる変更がないよう、できる限り早い時点で完成のお知らせができるように努めてまいります。事情ご拝察賜り、今後とも変わらぬご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。

“Jazz Museum Chigusa” preview and general opening postponed
Jazz Cafe Chigusa (Noge-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama), which has been under reconstruction for some time, was planned to be reopened as “Jazz Museum Chigusa. A preview was scheduled for December 15 (Fri.) and a public opening for December 16 (Sat.). However, due to delays in some construction work, the opening has been postponed.
The new Chigusa will open in the basement, but we had planned to make the grand piano available for use in the event space above ground. The installation of the elevator that raises and lowers the grand piano was not completed in time, and this delayed the delivery of the large speakers and the interior work significantly.
Originally scheduled for completion in March of this year, we were forced to reschedule at the last minute due to a series of design changes. We sincerely apologize to the jazz fans who have been looking forward to the completion of the project, to all parties involved, and to our supporters who have contributed to the fund.
We will make every effort to announce the completion of the project as soon as possible so that there will be no recurring changes. We appreciate your understanding of the situation and look forward to your continued support.
